I stumbled across this outfit outta Victoria, Australia. Silly name but hell, I'm not about to let that stop me. Part Tom Waitsian cabaret party time, part sweaty Nick Cave creeper poetry fest, part Mudlow pub tussle, part psychedelic blues/Roma country/folk freak-out with a horn section, they bring a wild and burly brand of joy to my ears that I havn't felt in a while. I would provide a song to DL but dammit just spend the six bucks ye cheap bastards and thank me later. The vidoes don't come near justice but it's a taste:
